Ashley Salter, MSN, APRN, AG-ACNP, AOCNP
Ashley received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas, and then a master’s degree in nursing with a concentration in adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner (NP) track from Saint Luke’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri.
She started her career in healthcare as a registered nurse, working in various healthcare settings. Looking for an opportunity to provide advanced care to patients, she completed her post-graduate education to become a certified nurse practitioner. Since then, Ashley quickly fell in love with the field of hematology and oncology and decided to pursue an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner credential, which she received several years ago.
Ashley’s approach to patient care begins by getting to know each patient on a personal level while providing compassionate and personalized care.
In her free time, she enjoys running, traveling, baking and being at home with her husband, their three children and their adopted dog.
