Dr. Ronak Rakesh Shah is a Board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist. Originally from India, he moved to the United States in 2008, completing his high school studies in Farmington Hills, Michigan, before pursuing his medical education in Ann Arbor and East Lansing. He is drawn to oncology for the opportunity to provide compassionate and patient-centered care during some of the most challenging times in his patients’ lives.

Dr. Shah has conducted numerous cancer-related research studies and clinical trials in areas including lung, breast, and thyroid cancers, as well as the role of nutrition in cancer care. He is ACLS and BLS certified and fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.

When he is not working, Dr. Shah enjoys spending time with his family through outdoor activities, watching movies, and trying new restaurants. He also likes playing team sports, including basketball, tennis, soccer, and cricket, as well as running and biking.
